THE AKASH MISSION - Abdul Kalam Aeronautics & Space Hindustan Mission

Every child has an fantasy about stars, moon, sun, clouds, rain etc. right from childhood and there was a time when India had grand-mothers to tell about the things found in Space and then there were teachers who would predict the future of child by the way the child questions the things found in sky(akash). Dr. Abdul Kalam was one of such Indian kid who turned out to be world's greatest space scientist ever.

The AKASH Mission is an Indian NSO(National Scientific Organization) encouraging the Aeronautics and Space research among Students and Scientists. The mission of Dr.Abdul Kalam to see India developed by 2020. Dr Abdul Kalam who is fond of children was of the opinion that children should be encouraged to ASK, raise QUESTION and they have every right to seek an ANSWER.

This mission is about encouraging children from all strata of Indian society- poor, middle or rich class to come together, ASK & SEEK answers about their interests in Aeronautics & Space research and help India groom great minds like Dr.Abdul Kalam for future advancements in Science & Technology. Dr. Kalam strongly advocated about the use of science for the benefit of mankind.

The world talks about NASA(National Aeronautics and Space Administration), USA but no one knows the major contributors of NASA are Indians and ISRO(Indian Space Research Organization) have proved with their achievements in the field of Space technology. Whereas AKASH(Abdul Kalam Aeronautics & Space Hindustan) Mission will target for encouraging Indian talent from all classes of Indian society and recognize them at international level and get an place of prestige & honor for India over the next coming years.
